Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S35) from January 2026, offering flexible day-to-day and long-term opportunities.
As a Drama Teacher, you will play a key role in nurturing students’ performance skills, creativity, and teamwork through engaging and dynamic lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach Drama across relevant key stages.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression in students.
• Prepare students for performances, assessments, and examinations.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the performing arts department.
What we need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Drama in UK schools is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for the performing arts and inspiring young people.
• A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
