Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a creative and inspiring Art Teacher with a passion for nurturing artistic talent?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sheffield (S35) from January 2026.

As an Art Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that help students develop artistic skills, confidence, and an appreciation for visual arts across a range of media. This role offers flexible day-to-day and long-term opportunities, ideal for teachers who enjoy encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Art TeacherResponsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach a variety of artistic techniques, styles, and media.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and independent thinking.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote positive engagement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental activities and exhibitions.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design.
• Experience teaching Art in UK schools is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
