Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher passionate about helping students develop confidence and problem-solving skills?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced school in Sheffield (S35) from January 2026.

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that build students’ numerical fluency, reasoning, and mathematical understanding. This role offers flexible day-to-day and long-term opportunities, ideal for teachers seeking variety or a more consistent placement.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach a range of mathematical topics across key stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental goals.

Mathematics Teacher Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths in UK schools is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
