SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Easingwold
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a specialist education setting in the Easingwold area.

The provision offers a calm, structured environment for pupils with SEND, SEMH and communication needs. Teaching is adapted to meet individual learning styles and emotional needs.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

  • Provide SEN support across lessons and interventions

  • Support emotional regulation and social development

  • Assist with personalised learning activities

  • Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

Requirements

  • SEN or behavioural support experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Resilient and adaptable approach

  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
