GSL Education are seeking a tech-savvy and motivated Computer Science Teacher to join schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6) from January 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Computer Science (CS) Teacher who enjoys bringing coding, problem-solving, and digital skills to life for students. Flexible placements are available, including both short-term supply and long-term opportunities, providing variety and consistent work.
Role details:
Position: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start date: January 2026
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
What you’ll be doing as a Computer Science Teacher:
- Planning and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons
- Inspiring students to develop computational thinking and programming skills expected of a Computer Science Teacher
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to help learners succeed
- Maintaining a positive and well-organised classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
The ideal candidate for a Computer Science Teacher role:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Computer Science at relevant levels
- Is confident with classroom management and communication
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service, or is willing to apply through GSL Education
