Position: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start date: January 2026
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and hands-on Design Technology Teacher to support schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6) from January 2026.
This role suits a Design Technology Teacher who enjoys combining creativity with technical knowledge to deliver engaging, practical lessons. Opportunities are available on a flexible basis, including short-term supply and longer-term placements.
Your responsibilities as a DT Teacher will include:
- Delivering creative and skills-based Design Technology sessions expected of a Design Technology Teacher
- Encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and independent thinking
- Managing workshop safety and classroom behaviour effectively
- Tracking learner progress and adapting lessons accordingly
- Collaborating with staff to enhance learning outcomes
We are looking for a Design Technology Teacher who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Design Technology
- Is confident managing practical learning environments
- Has an enhanced DBS on the update service, or is willing to apply through GSL Education
