Position: Science Teacher

Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)

Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Start date: January 2026

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are working with schools across Doncaster (DN2, DN6) to recruit a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher for roles starting in January 2026.

This is a great opportunity for a Science Teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting student progress. Both day-to-day supply and long-term opportunities are available, offering flexibility and consistency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering Science lessons in line with curriculum expectations
  • Encouraging curiosity and engagement through practical and theory-based learning expected of a Science Teacher
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Maintaining a positive and well-managed learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with staff to support learner development

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching as a Science Teacher
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply through GSL Education
