Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 –£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are presenting an opportunity for a Behaviour Support/Mentor to work within schools in Dinnington, covering the S25 area, providing consistent guidance to pupils who need help with behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.
As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will build trusting relationships with pupils, helping them understand expectations, manage challenges, and remain focused on learning throughout the school day.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group behavioural support.
- Implement agreed behaviour strategies and intervention plans.
- Support pupils during transitions and challenging moments.
- Encourage self-regulation, resilience, and positive decision-making.
- Record progress and share updates with relevant staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally as a Behaviour Support/Mentor.
- A clear understanding of behaviour management approaches.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, consistent, and professional manner.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
