Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for an Art Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield, based around the S11 area, delivering engaging and imaginative lessons that encourage creativity and self-expression.
As an Art Teacher, you will guide students in exploring artistic techniques - colour, form, texture, and creative thinking - while fostering confidence, originality, and a genuine appreciation for visual arts within a structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that are accessible to all learners.
- Encourage creativity while developing practical and observational skills.
- Provide clear feedback to help pupils refine and improve their work.
- Maintain a calm, organised, and inspiring learning environment.
- Monitor progress and keep accurate records of pupil development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience delivering lessons confidently as an Art Teacher.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding practices.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
