Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Ripon
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are seeking a confident Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a specialist provision near Ripon.
About the School
The school supports pupils with behavioural and emotional needs through structured routines, clear expectations and consistent adult support. Staff focus on helping pupils develop self-regulation and positive learning behaviours.
Responsibilities

Support pupils with behaviour needs in class

Implement behaviour support strategies

Encourage positive engagement and routines

Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff
Requirements
Experience with behaviour support, a calm and consistent approach, strong communication skills and an enhanced DBS.
