Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Barnsley
Pay: £460–£650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes, ensure students remain on task, and support teaching staff with classroom management. This role is a great opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and make a difference in students’ learning.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during teacher absence

Ensure students remain engaged and on task

Support behaviour management and maintain classroom order

Assist with lesson resources and classroom organisation

Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
Qualifications:

Experience working with children or in education is desirable but not essential

Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach

An up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
