Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher eager to inspire students to explore the world around them?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Rotherham (S65, S66) from January 2026.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, critical thinking, and global awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach topics across physical, human, and environmental geography.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and high behaviour standards.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental and whole-school objectives.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
  • Experience teaching Geography within UK schools is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
  • A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
