Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Sheffield (S35) from January 2026
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons that develop students’ problem-solving skills, numerical fluency, and logical thinking across a range of abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach key mathematical concepts clearly and effectively across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental and whole-school goals.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour in accordance with school policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Previous experience teaching Maths in secondary schools is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, challenge, and support learners of all abilities.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
