SEND Teaching Assistant – Psychology Graduates & Experienced TAs Welcome

GSL Education Manchester is proud to be working with a range of inclusive primary and secondary schools in Tameside, all of whom are seeking SEN-focused Learning Support Assistants to join their teams this term. These are full-time roles with the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people — particularly those with additional needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Psychology Graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant (with school-based SEN support experience)

  • Someone confident working with KS1, KS2 or KS3-aged pupils with additional needs

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, patient, and nurturing approach

  • An understanding of behavioural regulation strategies and differentiated learning

  • A commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment

  • Willingness to commit to a full-time, long-term role
