Pay: Up to £220 per day

Are you an experienced SEMH Teacher looking for a full-time role in Sheffield? A specialist school in the S5 area is seeking a confident and resilient SEMH Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
About the School:
The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, providing a structured and supportive environment where behaviour, relationships, and learning go hand in hand. Staff work closely together to ensure consistency, clear boundaries, and positive outcomes for students who require a more tailored approach to education.
About the Role:
As an SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupils with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will play a key role in helping students re-engage with education and develop both academically and socially.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons suited to pupils with SEMH needs

Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment

Manage challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies

Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
-
Work closely with support staff, SEN teams, and leadership
Qualifications:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Ability to build positive, professional relationships with pupils

A calm, consistent, and resilient approach
