Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield – S5
Pay: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: January
Are you a committed English Teacher looking for a long-term role in Sheffield? An exciting opportunity has become available at a local secondary school in the S5 area, who are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team from January until Easter.

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils with literacy development, exam preparation, and confidence in the classroom.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver English lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach across KS3 and KS4

Assess and monitor pupil progress

Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom

Work collaboratively with colleagues
Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Specialism in English
-
Strong classroom management skills

Experience teaching in UK secondary schools is desirable
