Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Teacher looking for a new challenge starting January 2026? GSL Education Kent are delighted to be supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford with the recruitment of a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their mathematics department. This is an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher committed to inspiring confidence and achievement in learners from Years 7 through 11.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that build confidence and conceptual understanding
• Assess student progress and provide effective feedback to secure strong outcomes
• Create a positive classroom environment where students feel challenged and supported
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice across the department
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent — applications without QTS will not be considered
• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and experience teaching across secondary phases
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills
• A commitment to supporting student achievement and wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
