Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher looking to inspire students and strengthen their confidence in numeracy?

GSL Education are seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Hull.

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons that help students develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, supporting their academic progress and future success.

Mathematics Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students in developing confidence and competence in mathematical skills.
  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Previous experience teaching Maths is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate, challenge, and inspire students.
  • A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
