Job Title: Construction Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time
Are you an experienced and motivated Construction Teacher with a passion for developing practical skills and industry knowledge in young people?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Construction Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking educational setting in Hull.
As a Construction Teacher, you will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that equip students with essential construction skills, technical understanding, and workplace awareness, supporting their progression into further education, apprenticeships, or careers within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver practical and theory-based Construction lessons.
- Teach construction skills including health and safety, tools, materials, and building techniques.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Support learners in developing technical, vocational, and employability skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- A relevant teaching qualification or industry-recognised qualification in Construction or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching Construction or working within the construction industry.
- Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
