Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Hull
Salary: £99 – £115 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Hull.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre-set work.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students with their work and encourage participation.
- Report back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and behaviour.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people or in a school setting is desirable.
- CACHE Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confident leading groups of students and following lesson plans.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
