Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: £450-£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/January 2026 start
Contract type -Supply Cover
Are you someone who can confidently manage a classroom and ensure students remain engaged during lessons?
GSL Education are providing an opportunity for a reliable Cover Supervisor to oversee classes in Worksop (S81), helping learners stay focused, complete tasks, and maintain positive behaviour in the absence of teaching staff.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will follow pre-prepared lesson plans, manage classroom routines, and encourage students to engage with the work set, ensuring a productive learning environment throughout the day.
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absence, following provided lesson materials.
- Maintain order and positive behaviour in the classroom.
- Support learners in completing tasks and staying engaged.
- Report on student behaviour and progress to teaching staff.
- Ensure safety and wellbeing of all students throughout the day.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Calm, adaptable, and confident in varied situations.
- Professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
