Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £ 1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/ January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to bring on board a committed Science Teacher to work with schools across Sheffield, helping pupils in the S5 and S9 postcode areas develop a passion for science.
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that foster enquiry, investigation, and critical thinking, while supporting students in building theoretical knowledge and practical skills within a safe, inclusive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and analytical thinking.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Promote safe working practices during practical activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience as a Science Teacher.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence across science topics.
- Effective classroom management and clear communication skills.
- A professional, reflective approach to teaching and safeguarding.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
