Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £ 1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/ January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to recruit a dedicated Geography Teacher to work with schools serving Sheffield, supporting learners in the S2 and S3 postcode areas as they build confidence and curiosity in both physical and human geography.
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that explore global issues, landscapes, and cultures, while helping students develop strong analytical and map-reading skills.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Support students in developing geographical enquiry and critical thinking skills.
- Use a range of teaching methods to bring geographical concepts to life.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Encourage discussion around environmental and global issues.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with relevant experience as a Geography Teacher.
- Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography.
- Confident classroom management and effective communication skills.
- A professional and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
