Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £ 1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/ January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are proud to appoint a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work with schools serving Sheffield, producing engaging lessons that support learners in the S11 postcode area and help them develop technical skills and confidence through hands-on learning.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that combine practical work with theory, encouraging students to design, make, and evaluate their ideas in a safe and well-structured environment.
Prime Responsibilities of Design Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver practical and theory-based design technology lessons.
- Support students in developing design, making, and evaluation skills.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and materials at all times.
Requirements of Design Technology Teacher:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with relevant qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering practical lessons.
- Effective classroom management and clear communication skills.
- A professional and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
