Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £ 1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/ January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Science Teacher, covering schools in Sheffield, guiding learners in the S11 postcode area to strengthen their scientific skills.
As a Science Teacher, you will design engaging lessons that make scientific concepts accessible and inspiring, fostering curiosity, enquiry, and problem-solving. You will play a vital role in advancing academic progress and deepening students’ understanding of the sciences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Support students in developing practical skills and scientific understanding.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Promote curiosity, critical thinking, and safe working practices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with relevant experience as a Science Teacher.
- Strong subject knowledge across science disciplines.
- Confident classroom management and clear communication skills.
- A professional and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
