SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets
Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM
GSL Education’s London Branch is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis and within the classroom.
Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Provide tailored 1:1 SEN support to students, ensuring they can access learning effectively.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiated activities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEN team to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Follow school policies and contribute to a supportive team culture.
- Monitor and record student progress as required.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Previous SEN experience and knowledge.
- Recent school-based experience.
- Ability to deliver effective 1:1 SEN support.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow school policies.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
