Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently appointing a Drama Teacher to work within schools across Sheffield, supporting learners in the S2 and S3 areas and helping them develop performance skills, teamwork, and confidence.
As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that encourage students to explore acting, improvisation, and stagecraft, while building communication skills and self-assurance.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating drama lessons and workshops.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork in students.
- Support the development of acting, improvisation, and performance skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Organise and supervise performances, rehearsals, and school productions.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements of Drama Teacher:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching drama.
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, performance, and the curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate students and foster creativity and confidence.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare.
