Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are thrilled to hire an Art Teacher to work throughout schools in Sheffield, supporting learners in the S2 and S3 areas and encouraging them to develop confidence and skills in visual arts.
As an Art Teacher, you will deliver lessons across diverse techniques and mediums, helping students express themselves while developing skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities of Art Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging art lessons.
- Encourage students to experiment with different artistic techniques and media.
- Support the development of both practical skills and creative thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to enhance learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching art.
- Strong knowledge of the art curriculum and ability to deliver differentiated lessons.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire students and foster confidence in their creative abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare.
