Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a skilled Maths Teacher to work in Sheffield schools, supporting learners in the S2 and S3 areas to achieve their full potential in mathematics.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that build confidence, strengthen knowledge, and support learners in overcoming challenges to achieve success.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to students’ abilities as a Maths Teacher.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Help students develop problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and enjoyment in maths.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to support learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching mathematics.
- Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and ability to deliver differentiated lessons.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Understanding of safeguarding and professional responsibilities.
