Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are inviting applications for an English Teacher to support learners in Sheffield’s S2 and S3 areas, helping them reach their full potential in English.
As an English Teacher, you will deliver lessons in reading, writing, and speaking, fostering a love of literature while helping students build confidence, comprehension, and analytical skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating lessons across all aspects of the English curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Encourage critical thinking and a love of literature and language.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to address individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievements.
Requirements of English Teacher:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching English.
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and literature.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare.
