Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediately/January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are thrilled to appoint enthusiastic Sports Coaches to support learners in Sheffield’s S2 and S3 areas through structured and engaging sports programmes.
As a Sports Coach, you will play an active role in delivering sports sessions that promote participation, discipline, and healthy lifestyles, while creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
Responsibilities of Sports Coach:
- Deliver engaging sports sessions and physical activities suited to different abilities.
- Encourage teamwork, motivation, and positive behaviour through sport.
- Support students in developing physical skills, confidence, and resilience.
- Assist with the organisation and supervision of indoor and outdoor activities.
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are followed at all times.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support wider wellbeing and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching or supporting children or young people in sports or physical activities.
- A confident, energetic, and motivating approach.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage groups and maintain positive behaviour.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and professional conduct.
