Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teacher to work in a secondary school in Manchester. This role is ideal for qualified teachers, TA's and for individuals looking to progress in education and gain valuable classroom experience as a pathway towards becoming a teacher.

Full and Part time roles available 

Monday - Friday 

The Role

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where required)

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment

  • Provide feedback to permanent staff at the end of the day

  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and student needs

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential, depending on role)

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, Classroom support 

  •  

    Experience working as a Youth Worker, Social worker 

  •  

    Experience working in sport clubs, holiday clubs, after school clubs, camp America 

  • Experience working with secondary-age students

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
