Physics Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £185 – £265 per day
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long Term

GSL Education London Branch are looking for a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a welcoming secondary comprehensive school and sixth form for girls in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity for a Physics Teacher who enjoys inspiring young learners and making Physics engaging and accessible. As a Physics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students achieve excellent outcomes. This long-term role is perfect for a motivated Physics Teacher looking to make a real impact from January 2026. If you are an enthusiastic Physics Teacher with strong subject knowledge and classroom practice, this role could be for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Teach Physics across KS3, KS4, and KS5 as a Physics Teacher

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively

  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Support students with different learning needs to achieve their best

  • Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong subject knowledge as a Physics Teacher

  • Experience teaching Physics in UK secondary schools

  • Good classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students as a Physics Teacher
