Job Title: RE (Religious Education) Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting an RE Teacher to work in schools across Doncaster, covering the DN2 and DN6 postcodes, delivering lessons that encourage reflection, discussion, and critical thinking.
As an RE (Religious Education) Teacher, you will create a supportive environment where students can explore different faiths, moral dilemmas, and contemporary issues, while developing the confidence to express their ideas clearly and respectfully.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a well-structured RE curriculum that promotes inquiry and understanding.
- Encourage students to explore ethical, spiritual, and cultural questions.
- Provide constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth.
- Apply effective behaviour management to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and enrichment activities.
- Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as an RE Teacher.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to supporting learners of varying abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A responsible and professional approach to safeguarding.
