Job Title: PE (Physical Education) Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for applications for a PE (Physical Education) Teacher to join schools situated in the wider Rotherham area, covering the S65 and S66 postcodes.

As a PE Teacher, you will lead engaging practical and theory-based sessions that encourage students to develop physical skills, confidence, and a positive mindset towards health and wellbeing.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a well-structured PE (Physical Education) curriculum through motivating and inclusive lessons.
  • Support pupils in improving their physical ability, teamwork, and resilience.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help students progress in both practical and written work.
  • Maintain a safe and organised environment during indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider enrichment programme.
  • Track student development and keep accurate assessment records.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as a PE Teacher.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to supporting learners of varying abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A professional and responsible approach to safeguarding.
