Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a Computer Science (CS) Teacher to work in schools in Rotherham (S65 & S66), delivering lessons that help students build essential digital and computational skills.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will teach programming, data, and modern technologies while fostering analytical thinking and creativity. Your lessons will build confidence, spark curiosity, and deepen understanding of how digital tools shape our world.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach computer science topics through structured, engaging lessons.
  • Support students with coding, algorithms, and digital literacy.
  • Provide clear feedback that helps learners strengthen their understanding.
  • Use effective behaviour management to maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and development.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment records.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as a Computer Science Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A responsible and professional approach to safeguarding.
