Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for a Science Teacher to join schools across Rotherham (S65 & S66). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching Biology, Chemistry, or Physics in a clear, engaging way that inspires students to think critically.
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver purposeful lessons, guide learners of varying abilities, and cultivate a supportive environment where students can build strong scientific understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science through practical, engaging, and well-sequenced lessons.
- Support learners with scientific concepts, experiments, and exam preparation.
- Provide meaningful feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Apply effective behaviour strategies to maintain a focused classroom.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental discussions.
- Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements of Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Secure subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- A genuine commitment to helping students grow academically and personally.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A solid understanding of safeguarding practices within a school setting.
