Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are partnering with schools in the S35 area to appoint a committed PE (Physical Education) Teacher who can deliver dynamic, well‑structured sessions across a range of sports and fitness activities.
As a PE Teacher, you’ll motivate students to stay active, strengthen teamwork, and build confidence in and out of the classroom. Through engaging lessons and inclusive participation, you’ll foster a positive environment that supports every learner’s physical growth.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of sports and physical education activities.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal fitness.
- Ensure lessons are engaging, safe, and well organised.
- Maintain equipment and set up practical sessions effectively.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to extracurricular sports and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of physical education and confidence delivering as a PE Teacher.
- Good communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to promoting inclusive and enjoyable PE experiences.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare.
