About the Role:
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will play a key role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the health and social care sector. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire a passion for the subject. Responsibilities for a Health and Social Care Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Health and Social Care to students at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in developing practical and theoretical understanding of health and social care principles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements of Health and Social Care Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in teaching Health and Social Care or a related subject is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships within the school community.
- Deep commitment to helping students succeed, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care education (desirable but not essential).
