Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/January 2026 start
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are proud to support schools in the Doncaster areas of DN2 and DN6 by welcoming a dynamic Geography Teacher who can inspire curiosity and deepen understanding of the planet through real‑world examples and engaging activities.

As a Geography Teacher, you will create exciting, practical lessons that help students develop map skills, analyse data, and understand global issues. You will make complex concepts approachable while fostering environmental awareness and critical thinking.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons across physical, human, and environmental geography.
  • Encourage students to investigate, research, and think critically about global issues.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to support student progress.
  • Maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning.
  • Support geography-related projects and fieldwork activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching geography in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence as a Geography Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
