Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/January 2026 start
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you confident in delivering engaging lessons that help students strengthen their literacy skills?
GSL Education are seeking English Teacher to inspire learners across the Doncaster areas of DN2 and DN6, bringing literature and language to life for students of all abilities.
As an English Teacher, you will plan purposeful lessons, guide students through reading and writing tasks, and help them develop clear communication skills. You will work closely with school staff to ensure learners receive consistent support and feel motivated in every session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-prepared lessons that are accessible and structured.
- Support learners with reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Provide clear feedback to help pupils improve their work.
- Maintain positive behaviour and encourage active participation.
- Work alongside colleagues to contribute to planning and assessment.
- Monitor pupil progress and keep accurate records.
Requirements of English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as an English Teacher.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners with differing needs.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional approach to safeguarding and school expectations.
