Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/January 2026 start
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications from an inspiring Drama Teacher to join a supportive school community across the DN2 and DN6 areas. This role is ideal for someone who can bring energy, imagination, and strong subject knowledge to the classroom.
As a Drama Teacher, you will lead pupils through performance skills, from character development to script work and ensemble activities, helping them grow in confidence, communication, and teamwork while nurturing creativity in a structured, purposeful environment.
Prime Responsibilities of Drama Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons that cover key performance techniques and drama theory.
- Support students in developing confidence, expression, and collaborative skills.
- Provide clear feedback to help learners improve their practical and written work.
- Organise and oversee rehearsals, group tasks, and performance-based activities.
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom space.
- Contribute to the wider arts department and whole-school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching drama within a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the performing arts.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and student development.
