Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/January 2026 start
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for an inspiring Art Teacher to join a supportive school environment in the DN2 and DN6 areas. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can bring artistic concepts to life while supporting pupils of different abilities.
As an Art Teacher, you will guide learners in artistic techniques, fostering experimentation, confidence, and originality while helping them develop visual skills, explore diverse mediums, and appreciate the arts.
Main Responsibilities of Art Teacher:
- Teach engaging lessons that cover drawing, painting, mixed media, and other creative practices.
- Encourage students to develop their own artistic style and think critically about their work.
- Maintain a well-organised and inspiring classroom environment.
- Provide meaningful feedback to support progress and skill development.
- Plan lessons that align with curriculum requirements and wider departmental goals.
- Support extracurricular opportunities such as exhibitions or creative projects when needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience delivering Art within a school setting.
- A strong understanding of a range of artistic methods and materials.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive student development.
