Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Up to £1100 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate / January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons, promoting numeracy confidence, and ensuring students remain engaged and motivated in their learning. Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, following the school’s curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work, ensuring progress is monitored and recorded.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a calm and focused learning environment.
- Support students of varying abilities with clear explanations, tailored support, and challenge where needed.
- Contribute to the wider school community, attending meetings and participating in departmental activities.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and uphold school policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and experience teaching in secondary schools.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons that motivate and stretch learners.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
