Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 - £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

Are you passionate about inspiring students through sport and physical activity? A local school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join their team and help students develop skills, confidence, and a love of physical activity.

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in delivering sporting sessions and physical education activities to students, supporting their physical, social, and emotional development. This position provides the chance to make a meaningful difference to students’ health, confidence, and overall engagement with school life.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions for individuals and groups.

Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and good sportsmanship among students.

Adapt activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support teams to ensure a holistic approach.

Maintain accurate records of sessions and student participation.

Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and school competitions.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in coaching, PE, or sports leadership is preferred.

Knowledge of sports development and the ability to engage children of all abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Enthusiasm, patience, and a proactive approach to inspiring students.
