Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 - £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

Are you passionate about inspiring students through sport and physical activity? A local school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join their team and help students develop skills, confidence, and a love of physical activity.

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in delivering sporting sessions and physical education activities to students, supporting their physical, social, and emotional development. This position provides the chance to make a meaningful difference to students’ health, confidence, and overall engagement with school life.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions for individuals and groups.

  • Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and good sportsmanship among students.

  • Adapt activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support teams to ensure a holistic approach.

  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and student participation.

  • Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and school competitions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in coaching, PE, or sports leadership is preferred.

  • Knowledge of sports development and the ability to engage children of all abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Enthusiasm, patience, and a proactive approach to inspiring students.
