Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract type- Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are searching for a dedicated Geography Teacher to support schools in the Worksop (S81) postcode. The role is perfect for someone who can bring geography to life, inspiring pupils to explore the environment, cultures, and global issues with curiosity and confidence.   

As a Geography Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that help pupils understand key topics and build good study habits. You’ll also play a vital part in the department’s success, making sure pupils progress confidently through the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach geography across Key Stages and adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities.
  • Create clear, structured learning activities that encourage pupil engagement.
  • Promote effective behaviour for learning within the classroom.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support academic progress.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards within the department.
  • Keep accurate records of pupil achievement and assessments.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a suitable teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as a Geography Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to supporting students with varying learning needs.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A professional approach to safeguarding and school policies.
