Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: £95-£110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract type- Daily Supply

GSL Education are looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Worksop (S81). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and can maintain a calm, productive learning atmosphere when teachers are absent.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, keep pupils focused, and ensure the class follows the planned activities. You will oversee a range of subjects, helping students stay on task and managing behaviour in line with school expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lessons across different subjects.
- Maintain orderly classroom conduct and encourage positive behaviour.
- Support students with their work and offer guidance when needed.
- Follow school procedures to ensure consistency across all lessons.
- Provide feedback to the teaching team regarding pupil engagement.
- Promote a safe and respectful learning environment at all times.
Requirements:
- A degree-level qualification or previous experience in UK schools.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Confidence supervising groups of secondary students.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working in different settings.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A genuine interest in supporting students’ learning.
