Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £190 per day
Contract Type: Part-time, Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026

A number of schools in Sheffield are looking for reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to cover short-term and long-term absences across all key stages. This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic teachers to gain experience in a variety of school settings while making a real difference to students’ learning.

About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be covering lessons across different subjects and year groups, providing continuity and maintaining a positive learning environment. You will need to quickly adapt to different classrooms, school routines, and student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons as per the school’s plan or scheme of work

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

  • Support students’ learning and engagement

  • Follow school policies and procedures

  • Provide feedback to the regular teacher or department where required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching in a UK school preferred

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
