Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026

A supportive secondary school in Sheffield is looking for a confident and committed Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term/day-to-day basis. This role is available immediately or from January 2026, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you’ll deliver well-structured, engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will help students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of key concepts, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan lessons in line with curriculum and departmental schemes

  • Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress

  • Support learners of varying abilities

  • Contribute positively to the Maths department and wider school community

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
