Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield, S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: January 2026 – Easter

A welcoming secondary school in Sheffield (S5) is looking for a creative and confident Art Teacher to join their team full-time from January until Easter. This is a great opportunity for someone who can deliver engaging lessons and bring fresh ideas to the Art department.

About the Role:
As an Art Teacher, you will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that help students build practical skills, confidence, and a genuine interest in visual arts. You’ll plan creative lessons, maintain high expectations, and contribute positively to the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan creative schemes of work aligned with curriculum requirements

  • Manage behaviour confidently and consistently

  • Assess and track student progress

  • Support students of varying abilities

  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for creative learning

  • Confident classroom management

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
